Welcome to DataEasy
DataEasy is revenue-first web analytics. Besides the usual visitors, pages and referrers, it connects every payment to the visitor who made it, so you can see which marketing channels, pages and campaigns actually bring customers.
Getting set up takes three steps:
- Install the tracking script on your website (one line of HTML).
- Connect your payment provider (Stripe, LemonSqueezy or Polar) and pass the visitor id to your checkout.
- Optionally, track custom goals (signups, trials, clicks) and build conversion funnels.
What the script collects
The script is a small dependency-free file served from https://dataeasy.app/js/script.js. On every page load (and on every client-side navigation in single-page apps) it sends a pageview with:
- the page URL (including UTM and ref parameters) and the referrer,
- the viewport size,
- a random visitor id stored in the first-party
dataeasy_visitor_idcookie (1 year), and a session id in thedataeasy_sessioncookie (30 minutes, sliding).
Country, region and city are derived server-side from the request; browser, OS and device from the user agent. DataEasy does not collect names or emails of your visitors, and IP addresses are only used to apply your exclusion rules.
What is filtered out
- Bots and headless browsers (detected in the browser and again on the server).
- Visits on
localhostand*.local, unless you opt in withdata-allow-localhost. - Visits from browsers where you set the ignore flag, and traffic matching the exclusions in your website settings (IPs, paths, hostnames, countries).
