"The only analytics dashboard I open every day"

Exclude your own visits

Your own visits skew the numbers, especially on a young website. DataEasy gives you two ways to leave them out.

Ignore this browser

Open your website, open the browser console and run:

localStorage.setItem("dataeasy_ignore", "true");

The tracker keeps loading but sends nothing from this browser (add data-debug="true" to see "not sent: dataeasy_ignore flag" in the console). The flag is per browser and per domain: repeat it on each device and each domain you use. To track again:

localStorage.removeItem("dataeasy_ignore");

Exclusion rules

In Website settings → Exclusions you can drop events server-side by:

  • IP address or IPv4 range (CIDR, e.g. 203.0.113.0/24),
  • path (e.g. your admin pages),
  • hostname (e.g. a staging subdomain),
  • country.

Excluded events are discarded on arrival and don't count towards your plan usage.
